Passion for wine and for good soil... this is the only reason why the Codecasa family created in 1996 the Ca' Nova Estate.
Passion led the owner, Giada, to leave Milan and her career as a lawyer to devote herself totally to land and winery. Passion brought their mother Daniela to leave Milan and move to a small village in Piedmont. The same passion persuaded her father Vittorio to make viticulture his hobby.About nine hectars of vineyards, a modern cellar and the magic atmosphere of this eighteenth - century - farmhouse were thus born among the hills of high Piedmont.
The careful choice of vines, the qualified selection of grapes, the precious experience of the oenologists Scaglione and Scaglione, and the most modern equipment for vinification are the elements that enable the success of two top-quality wines: "Rugiada" Colline Novaresi Bianco DOC, obtained from "Erbaluce" grapes, and Melchior Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo DOC.Two more great red wines are going to be produced: S. Quirico Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo DOC Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon vines and the esteemed "Ghemme" DOCG.
